The First Ever Documented Sasquatch Wedding | Sasquatcho + Sasquatcha Big Foot Adventure Elopement | North Cascades National Park
I want to start this blog by mentioning how incredibly honored I was to be given the opportunity to capture the marriage between these two famous Pacific Northwesterners- the Bigfoots. I hope you can join me in my own tears of joy over the beautifully shared love between these two.
Sasquatcha reached out to me a few weeks ago- that’s how quickly things move in the Adventure Elopement Industry. She mentioned her and Sasquatcho had been engaged for a few weeks and she was a bit overwhelmed by the planning process. It turns out, there aren’t many Sasquatch friendly venues or gowns for her. My heart really felt for her and I wanted to help make her beautiful day a dream come true.
Sasquatcha and Sasquatcho wanted to Elope in the Pacific Northwest as this is where they met. They had a “meet cute” straight out of a romance movie- they met while both stealing apples from unsuspecting campers in the backcountry. It was love at first sight. They’re both introverts and really don’t like an attention, so we figured an elopement would suit them best. Sasquatcha shared how camera shy her and Sasquatcho are- often unable to stay still when nervous, but she wanted portraits of their day, so she searched for the most comforting and relatable photographer, and stumbled upon me- what a compliment! We decided an elopement in North Cascades National Park with an epic view would be perfect for them.
It was an incredibly beautiful ceremony, so many tears were shed- you could feel the love that Sasquatcha and Sasquatcho shared. Evan was the officiant for them, he’s luckily ordained, since they didn’t know who else to ask. Enjoy the rest of the photos- I hope you feel the immense joy of the beautiful morning.
Congratulations to this beautiful couple! Let’s all wish them the best + an abundance of apples to share in their lifetime!
